Research interests

My research tackles fundamental questions in biodiversity conservation to improve our understanding on the distribution and sensitivity of species to environmental changes. The objective is to make conservation more effective by improving evaluations of conservation policy and practice. My work mostly involves statistical and GIS analyses of large biodiversity databases, and occasional field surveys. This research is within the disciplines of conservation sciences, global change ecology and biogeography.
